Inutile Lights

The conceptual idea of form minus function, dealing with shapes that in future times might lose function because of scientific and technological developments, made us contemplate about the relation between form and function in our work from a new point of view.
Whereas form minus function and the ‘unused’ shapes seems manageable, the thought of function minus form is a conception that for us, lovers of form, is slightly ‘frightening’ but certainly challenging!
The very first ‘function minus form’ exercise resulted in a series of lighting fixtures called Inutile.
