Swarovski

During the academy we got the assignment from Swarosvki;
create new work, inspirations or functions with the Swaroski crystals.


A carpet that gets better with age, this rug is designed in such way that the more one walks on it, the more the buried black crystals become uncovered and shine. Worn patches become decorative motifs, age becomes beauty.
With the softness and depth of an ancient Roman fresco this wall hanging mixes hand-made felt with machine-made crystals. The piece depicts a peacefull scene painted in pastels, with transparent crystals placed humbly on the ground, sparkling like dew.
